It's official. I dropped off my application at Ann Taylor after what seemed like forever filling out the application. I've been in a mental fog for over a week since I got here. I suppose it's just all the changes that seem to be overwhelming at times. Don't get me wrong, I'm truly grateful to have a roof over my head and food in my belly.
Next stop, UPTOWN CAFE, which got RAVE REVIEWS on Metromix Chicago's website.

According to Metromix, "This local treasure pleases all ages with its hip, retro interior and diverse menu. Find anything from your basic (though especially good) pancakes to Black Angus burgers to egg white omelets. Everyone raves about the frittatas and eggs benedict. Don't bet on this place ever being slow; you can, however, expect super-friendly service and a cheerful atmosphere."
I can't wait to eat there soon!
